PLACEMENT AND CAREER GUIDANCE CELL:

SIMS lays emphasis on students' career guidance and placement through a committee comprsing students, placement officer, faculty members and the Director to assist them to plan their career in management profession as well as the project works and final placements. Some of the organisations which have facilitated the students in the past for summer and final placements are as follows:

1. Senior Business Club: (SBC) The members of the SBC are the students of final year MBA and faculty members. The main objective of SBC is to provide exposure to the business environment through various seminars and workshops, simulated business modules and it is the stage for learning the minute skills of communication, presentation of business proposals and enhancing the core competence for handling diversified business situations. Students are encouraged to invite city's topmost management experts and business leaders where the students can interact and get the exposure of these management legends.

2. Junior Business Club (JBC): JBC Consists of students of first year MBA and faculty members. The aim of JBC is to develop the basic skills of the students communication , inter-personal relations, team work , positive attitude and executive grooming . Students are also encouraged to conduct role plays, presentations, debates , report writing. The students are made compulsory to attend these programmes every weekend consisting of several teams . The faculty members plays the role of guide and a facilitator.
